Soprano Branislava Podrumac, and pianist Milivoje Veljić have joined forces to create No Boundaries Duo in 2017. Their drive was to create tailor made concert program in 18 languages and variety of musical genres from opera, operetta, and musical, trough jazz and evergreen standards to traditional and world music tunes.  This program is exclusively created for the clients of family-owned and operated river cruise company AmaWaterways, with more than two decades of experience on the world’s rivers. This unique musical journey could only be enjoyed by the sophisticated passengers of AmaCerto and AmaBella ships during the Grand Danube Cruise overnight stay in Novi Sad.

Over the course of time this duo has deepened their professional relationship by collaboration in numerous projects, performing both in theater, concert stage as well as at various social and corporate events.

One of my favorite onboard entertainment sessions was the talented duo of Branislava Podrumac (voice of an angel) and Milivoje Velijic (piano). Together they presented a musical operetta of “No Boundaries,” a journey of great opera songs from around the world in various languages. The AmaCerto invited them onboard to stage the exclusive performance. I was spellbound for hours after their departure. In fact, I still am.

Branislava Podrumac is a multitalented artist with the great power of transformation which allows her to master the scene in any genre. No matter if she’s singing Puccini or Mozart, contemporary music, Les Miserables or Rebeca, gospel, traditional, jazz or she appears in dramatic roles one thing is certain – she will knock you out of your feet with her spontaneity, animation and the ease with whom she sings the most demanding roles.

Milivoje Veljić is a pianist and associate in the Department of solo singing at the Music Academy in Belgrade, where he graduated piano and got his PhD from the Department of chamber music. He received the Faculty award Jelena Pavlovic for the best graduate. He represented the Music Academy and participated in the opening of the ISA Festival in Austria.
